Much can be said about our attempt to become full-fledged adults — much, in the way that we’d just rather not. Brock’s turning 25 next Thursday (insert crying emoji, crying emoji, crying emoji, crying emoji, crying emoji). What happened to us? Where did everything go wrong? WE’RE TOO YOUNG TO STEP INTO ANOTHER AGE BRACKET. But, when it comes to mixing ice cream with alcohol, we’re all like, “FINE. We’ll be adults. Just pass the ice cream. NOW.”
In an attempt to take over Pinterest, we decided to try our hands at concocting the best boozy floats ever made. Peach ice cream. Campari. Grapefruit soda. The best, PINK cocktail ever made. And, at that, the perfect balance of bitter (Campari + grapefruit) and sweet (peach ice cream).
This is the cocktail you should be making for your best friends:
Peach and Grapefruit Float (via Bon Appetit)
3 scoops peach ice cream
1 ounce Campari
Tarragon or lemon verbena
Add ice cream to chilled glass and top with grapefruit soda and Campari, and if you so please, garnish with tarragon or lemon verbena 🙂 SO EASY, AHHHHHHHH.
