If you haven’t seen our Puerto Vallarta vlog yet… what are you even doing with your life? That’s a valid life question 😛
Vlog or not, our trip to Puerto Vallarta was one for the history books, MOST notably chronicling our love for pizza. Yes, pizza in Puerto Vallarta. Don’t doubt us when we say we had some of the best pizza we’ve ever had in our lives. And it all happened at Los Muertos Brewing, downtown.
Somehow we’re always talking about pizza…
But no worries. Our trip extended well past a few slices 😉
Over the course of a few days and nights, we spent a majority of our days poolside at the Marriott Resort & Spa, mainly ordering chicken fingers, ceviche, and margaritas. Yum! And given how short our trip was, sandwiched in-between two other trips, all we wanted to do was relax float.
Quick question regarding the Puerto Vallarta Marriott Resort & Spa: can we go back immediately? 😛
We stayed in a junior suite with a king bed, had a balcony that overlooked the pool and ocean, and basically lived our best lives ever. From having access to an incredible spa (complete with three soaking pools, a sauna, a steamroom, a lounging area, etc) to hanging out in a cabana each day by the pool, we were beyond impressed with the property and what it has to offer.
Here’s a breakdown of how our trip went:
DAY ONE
5am Sunday, 5/20 — take off for Puerto Vallarta (albeit, a little very hungover after Brock’s step-brother’s wedding)
2pm — arrive in Puerto Vallarta
3pm — head straight to the pool
7pm — sushi for dinner at Mikado, on location at the Marriott Resort and Spa
9pm — PASS OUT in our king bed
DAY TWO
10am — massages at Ohtli Spa, on location at the Marriott Resort
12pm — poolside, in a cabana, at the Resort
3pm — take off for Los Muertos Beach
7pm — PIZZA at Los Muertos Brewing
DAY THREE
10am — poolside at the Resort
12pm — beachside at Los Muertos Beach
6pm — film screening of Tangerine, downtown for Puerto Vallarta PRIDE
8pm — back to having pizza (for the second time) at Los Muertos Brewing 😛
And then we headed back to San Francisco, where it was a little rainy 🙁 So sad.
Can we go back to Puerto Vallarta, please?

A special thank you to the Puerto Vallarta Marriott Resort & Spa for having us 🙂
