Pottery Barn registry including robes and lanterns

Because no home is complete without lanterns and marble cheese plates!

If you’ve been following us for the past few years, you’ll know we’re no strangers to the entire Williams Sonoma brand. Coming from two boys who moved to San Francisco in 2012 with $327 in their bank account and a handful of boxes full of hand-me-down pots, pans, and dish ware (somehow we even had a waffle maker with us; a necessity, of course), Pottery Barn was always the dream.

Cut to: August 2017, ages 26 and 27, and our attempt to grow up and host dinner parties in the vein of all things Martha (and let’s not fool around here, Martha has the best wine glasses to serve her guests).

Here’s the trajectory of our year: We moved to a new apartment in January (hallelujah!), bought a few new pieces of furniture in March (ugh, our poor bank account!), worked with Williams Sonoma on an apartment makeover in June (hurray!), and registered at Pottery Barn for a few more home essentials in August — i.e. “hello, friends, we don’t have wine glasses to serve you wine yet, so you can find them here at our registry!” We love our friends! 🙂

To be specific, here’s what we registered for:

This was all in an effort to live out our “Rachel Green from Friends” daydream, filling our home with all things Pottery Barn, of course.

We knew we needed to add some ambiance to our bedroom — spice things up a bit, you know 😛 — and so we went with a set of the Caleb lanterns and a pair of Waffle Weave robes. When registering, we basically just went with the idea that we needed a good “spa day” at home — it’s important to remember to always pamper yourself like the princess you truly are.

For entertaining, we registered for the Bodega wine glasses, this marble cheese board, and this marble champagne coaster, in addition to a few others.

If the possibilities were endless, here’s what else we would have registered for:

Tell us, though. What do you think of our home now?
