Alert the people of the world, EVERYONE, we’re heading to Outside Lands with PayPal (with a giveaway at the bottom of this post… AHHH).
It’s our first time attending Outside Lands this weekend. Commence disinterested “oh wow”s and “OMG, really?”s. It’s really not an interesting fact — a ‘first time at any festival,’ even our grandmas go to festivals… — just an easy way to proceed into talking about something WAY more exciting…
CLOTHES. CLOTHES. WHAT WE’RE WEARING. yes. CLOTHES.
For our looks, Brock went 70s and Chris went “I want to look like a surfer-bro-skater-bro-dude who’s lost in the 80s and loves his Woodstock Charlie Brown socks.” Exactly that.
The reason? To coordinate with PayPal‘s vintage arcade tent, aptly called The Arcade Powered by PayPal, and filled with classic and nostalgic arcade games like Pac-Man, Galaga, Pinball, Wack-A-Mole and even DDR.
(a.k.a. the perfect excuse for us to spend all of our moneys!). Make sure to stop by and use #paypalit on any social posts at the PayPal x Outside Lands experience, so we can check out your pics 😀 😀
BUT, back to the clothes.
Brock’s outfit reads: “Mismatching is cool, mismatching is fun, mismatching is EXHILARATING.” c/o PayPal, we shopped our favorite San Francisco men’s store online, Unionmade, and paired floral print pants (daisies!) with a peach and blue revere collar Beams plaid shirt. We finished the look with a pair of 70s reissued Converse (from MR PORTER) + signature round sunnies.
For Chris, we PayPal‘d it up all over the Interwebz, pairing a red bamboo print shirt from Stüssy with a pair of 7″ inseam navy Baxter Shorts from Club Monaco and a pair of white Vans Old Skool Sneakers (from Urban Outfitters). OH, and those Woodstock Charlie Brown socks too 😛
We’re headed to Outside Lands and we hope we see you there 🙂

Nick-N-Willys has the Jalapeño Burn pizza which is my absolute favorite! Comes with fresh jalapenos, mozzarella, roma tomatoes, black olives, red onion, fresh cilantro. I get mine with smoked chicken on a thin crust! Even better when they cook it at a higher temp so it’s crispy and crunchy!
