Tbh, we’ve never sweat so profusely in front of so many people before. That’s basically the summary of our Men’s Fashion Week experience.
But, more than just extra perspiration, we spent the past four days running from show to show with East Dane, working towards one common goal: finding out what we’re going to spend all of our money on for Fall/Winter 2016 ;P
Case in point: loose, red pants from Timo Weiland.
Case in point #2: SO MANY sherpa-lined jackets from Ovadia & Sons and Billy Reid.
We fully plan to have little to no money by December as a result of being exposed to so much fashunz (fashion, here, denoted as fashunz, solely in an effort to be exaggerative and dramatic). Given our reticence to be fiscally responsible (ever), this seems smart.
Since we’ll be bankrupt soon enough, we figure we might as well give back to the world in some way, all in an effort to spark karma. So, here are three takeaways so far from NYFW:M:
- Don’t leave your umbrella anywhere. It was pouring. We left our umbrella in a corner. Someone took it and replaced it with their broken one. RUDE.
- Sherpa is “forever.” Seriously, it was in practically every show (including Ovadia & Sons, Billy Reid and Robert Geller) except for Timo Weiland.
- There’s still not enough use of color for Fall and Winter. But, we have hope!
You can catch our visual diary of NYFW:M below and on Amazon!
NOW, we’re heading off to our last show for the week: Todd Snyder. More to come soon 😉
