We hold the following to be true: 1) the holidays are here, therefore we drink, 2) therefore, also, Mariah is on repeat.
When asked the question, “what are your holiday traditions?” we’re all like, “ummm, spiked punch?” and then we’re all like, “oh, it sounds like we have a problem, huh?” because we’re super selfish and didn’t offer anyone a glass of said spiked punch. Bah humbug.
On Monday night, we were ½ kooky, ½ bored and decided to pair the 90s Christmas Pandora mixtape to cocktails. GENIUS, we know. Better than an episode of How to Get Away With Murder, we know.
We went with NSYNC (sugary pop), Spice Girls (five distinct flavors and/or five stereotypes for pop divas), and Mariah Carey (big, bold, and BANG! that note hits you on the head / it’s actually Mariah hitting you on the head because you didn’t bring 22 bottles of lukewarm sparkling water).
But, back to Monday. The night progressed in the following way: Mariah Carey comes on the Pandora mixtape, Chris clicks “thumbs up” button, we dance, we dance, NSYNC comes on, Brock clicks “thumbs up” button, we dance, we dance, and then we’re all like, “LET’S MAKE GOOD COCKTAILS AND DRINK THEM.”
