CASUAL MENS STYLE

WAKING UP IN VEGAS

Casual Mens Style

Hi, we’re basic. Not in the sense that we love pumpkin spice lattes, because, we gave those up like a month ago (clearly last month’s trend); but, basic in the sense that we’re wearing simple tees and jeans and posting about it. We’re FASHION BLOGGERS. YES. We’ve finally made it.

Regardless, it’s a question of, why are we so concerned about dressing too basic nowadays?

This was what we wanted to wear in 100-degree heat at the Life is Beautiful festival in Las Vegas, and so we wore tees and jeans. AND DIED. WE DIED A MISERABLE, STINKY, SWEATY, METAPHORICAL DEATH. Nevertheless, reflecting on the photos we took, we couldn’t stop but think,

are we… BORING?!

Hardly. We love kittens, pizza, ranch dressing, and a great bubble bath. We are not boring. We’re simply, happily our own kind of basic 😛 (which just sounds like the end narration to a coming-of-age film all  about being the designated basic betch, but we’ll take it. We’ll be your designated basic betches)

This is how we woke up in Vegas, a.k.a. our own kind of casual mens style. On Chris, a vintage-inspired Berkeley tee from Levi’s, light-wash denim from Marc by Marc Jacobs, and white Tretorn sneakers. On Brock, a basic white tee from Lacoste, light-wash, destroyed denim from Levi’s, and a pair of 70’s-revived Converse lo-tops.
