(a.k.a. how to fool everyone into thinking you’re fancy when you usually just drink Three Wishes wine [at Whole Foods for $2.47 a bottle… HOW IS IT SO CHEAP?!] while binge watching beauty transformation videos on YouTube with your cat)
(a.k.a. personal experience)
True story, though: you, out of everyone, deserve a good cocktail. Unless you abstain from cocktails. Which, in that case, you just need this gif right now. HAHAHAHAHAHA. We’re laughing out loud. LOL! ROFL! We love that gif.
We had a few friends over last week and made our version of a lavender gin cocktail (and by ‘made our version of a lavender gin cocktail,’ we mean to say that Brock made them, Chris really had no part… well, no, Chris made the ice!). Here at casa Yummertime, though, we call it a Lavender Collins. FANCY.
Here’s How To Make A Lavender Collins:
Ingredients:
2 ounces gin
1 ounce fresh lemon juice
1/2 ounce lavender simple syrup (we made ours with this Martha Stewart recipe)
2-3 ounces club soda
Lemon slices for garnish
Preparation:
Pour the gin, lemon juice, and lavender simple syrup into an ice and lemon slice filled glass. Top with club soda and stir gently. SO EASY. Enjoy 😀
Also. It’s Monday. We just realized that. You most definitely need a cocktail.

After my journeys of flying yesterday – I definitely needed a cocktail. While I opted for Bourbon, this one sounds like a winner as well.
