We’re in bed. Right now. Writing this post. Listening to Lana Del Rey. Eating gummy bears. Wishing we were back in our king-sized bed at Omni Berkshire Place in NYC. Acting all sad and glum.
So. Um. This all sounds like a melodramatic Lana music video, right?
The basis for this post rests on our appreciation for our stay at Omni Berkshire Place…
anddddddd…
…our appreciation for drinking wine while watching The Bachelor in a hotel room, late at night. There’s really nothing better. Except for world peace. That’s definitely better. But, beside the point. So, moving on.
Omni Berkshire Place reached out to us, put us up for a few days during our trip out to NYC, and all around, became our much-needed home-away-from-home. Well… we wish we had Thomas, our little kitten, with us. But, HEY, it was as close to being a home-away-from-home as possible, right?!
We’re not sure whether or not they knew what they were getting themselves into, inviting the two of us to spend a few days at their hotel… at one point, we spent several minutes (let’s be conservative and say six three minutes…) just going round and round and round and round and round in the revolving doors to the lobby.
So. Much. Fun.
We’re basically 4 years old. With 24-year old IDs. Watch out.
But, let’s be honest, the hotel was remarkable, incredible, cozy, amazing. SO MANY POSITIVE WORDS. Not just for our experience, and the attentive hospitality they showed us, but also for the hotel itself. Perfectly situated at the corner of 52nd and Madison, we were just a quick walk away from 5th ave, Central Park and Rockefeller Center. See here. And here. And here.
OH. AND THE BED. THE KING-SIZED BED. THE MOST COMFORTABLE BED WE’VE EVER BEEN IN.
We could have just lived in that bed, under the sheets forever.

This place looks amazing/bigger than my NYC apartment. Love that balcony!
Those views tho, gorgeous.
