HOMECOMING PART II - Yummertime

HOMECOMING PART II

SIMI_1

If we had our own Breakfast Club, we’d eat all the bacon. And definitely all of the pancakes. And definitely all of the sausage. Definitely the sausage. No, but seriously, we’d probably be the ‘basket case’ and the ‘princess,’ stereotyped all the way. Go figure (insert sassy girl emoji, winky emoji, and kitten emoji, just because).

As PART II of our HOMECOMING post/series (sounds so fancy, right!?) we went back to Simi Valley High School, a quick morning trip while we were down in L.A. for Thanksgiving. Okay, so now that we’ve covered that, we’ve detailed the boring setting for this post, let’s talk about something fun. Like bacon! No, not bacon… how about what we were like in high school? Oh, and what we’re wearing here, obviously!

Chris:
loud, loud, loud, v-necks, tight-tight-tight skinny jeans, size 12.5 shoes (with the idea that bigger shoes equated to a more manly ‘look;’ Chris’s actually shoe size now is a size 10.5… clearly he was very manly), lanky, smiley, always texting behind the girls’ hair he sat behind in multiple classes, that ‘one gay guy’ in school that everyone was surprised was gay… kidding, no one was surprised! chatty, chatty, chatty, and best friends with the girl that would introduce him to Brock.

Brock:
bleached tips and urban outfitters. and then dark jeans and white v-necks. like every day. Brock wore shoes that fit and dated girls. he still wears shoes that fit, but only dates one boy (bonus points if you can guess who). he never brought lunch, but always ate (thanks to the girls in yearbook). now Chris makes sure he is fed because hangry is a thing.

Now on to what we’re wearing. To the fact that it’s pouring in San Francisco right now, and everywhere seems to be flooded, it was a beautiful 85 degrees in L.A. for our Thanksgiving. Hence our summer-like looks. Hence the fact that Chris’s jeans are basically cuffed to capris. Oh, capris. Love capris.

We’re sitting in front of our portable heater right now. The three of us. Chris, Brock, and Thomas, our cat. Take us away to a tropical island, please? Yes, the three of us. Thomas loves the beach.
