CONCERNING SWEATSHIRTS

We’re sure you’re surprised to hear we like shooting against walls. White walls. Brick walls. Grey walls. Pink walls. The Great Wall of China. You get the point. We like our walls. So here’s another wall! HA. Didn’t see that one coming, huh?

But, you see, the focus of this post is on what we’re wearing, and what we’re wearing are two of our favorite, favorite, favorite sweatshirts — one of which you’ve seen before, by Cuisse de Grenouille, and the other, which, AHA, you’ve never seen before on Yummertime, is from H&M.

The utility of a sweatshirt, any sweatshirt, is undeniable. They’re always comfy AND they’re always one half of an outfit. No extra work needed. We see you, Mr. Cardigan. Sadly, though, H&M doesn’t carry this velvet sweatshirt anymore. It’s not everyday that you come upon a black, velvet sweatshirt. So snag it if you do.

There’s something about wearing long sleeves with shorts in the midst of Fall that… we tried completing that statement, but couldn’t. It just feels good. Especially in San Francisco, where layers are almost always a must, even on our last few “shorts-weather” days.
