STAYCATION

Let’s keep this short. Get it? Because we’re wearing shorts?

But, really, we’re probably not going to be short, actually. Why? Because we’re here to discuss an important topic: the often overlooked and undervalued “staycation!” Ooooohhhh. Awwwwww. A staycation?

Yup, you guessed it! We’re on a staycation this week, spending five blissful days hanging out at home and around our own neighborhood. Snorkeling in Hawaii? Sure, sounds great! Cruise down to Mexico? Yeah, sounds fun! But, real talk: we need this. We need to lay around our apartment, no plans in hand, watching Netflix in one moment, and in another, brainstorming and doing full-scale research for the next stages of Yummertime. Oh, and we’re getting our hair cut. Important, right? Right.

Up first for today? We’ll be hunkering down in a cafe, spending a few hours getting all creative. What does that even mean? You’ll soon see 🙂 But, even before that, we managed to snap a few shots around Mission Dolores. Chris’s shirt from American Apparel? An awesome discovery we stumbled upon just this past Saturday. It’s definitely hot out in the city and so we decided to dress a little more preppy than normal — our own take on “new American prep,” as we’ll call it 😛 Oh, what are we even saying? Who cares!

Back to our staycation.

Well… that just about sums it up. That was short after all… We need to get back to our staycation, ya’ll!
