BRITISH BREAKFAST MARGS - Yummertime

BRITISH BREAKFAST MARGS

IMG_5532

With a quick and super simple cocktail recipe via GQ, we made British Breakfast Margaritas! What better way to perk up a long week (it was a Tuesday night… two days into the week, haha) than by making an easy drink to share with some close friends on a blustery, SF summer evening?

Really though, the set up is ridiculously easy.

2 oz Herradura Silver
1 spoonful of apricot jam
3/4 oz lime juice
1/4 oz simple syrup

Just combine all ingredients into a cocktail shaker, shake hard, and pour over ice. With a lime wedge, an apricot wedge, and  a sprig of mint for garnish, the whole drink ended up looking fancier than it actually is 😉

I’ll have to try this recipe tonight before the Gaga concert. Will have to do a pit stop for the jam but it sounds so yummy and perfect for the occasion (even if it is a weeknight)!
