Introducing Virtu

Brock and Chris of Yummertime review Vince Camuto Virtu, men's cologne
We’ll start this by admitting, we love smelling things.

Consider it a hobby. Smelling scents of all sorts. Woo! WHAT A RUSH. But, lighthearted admissions aside, we do have some news.

In celebration of the launch of Vince Camuto’s newest fragrance, Virtu, we took to the hills and the trees of Alamo Square to shoot a mood board of sorts — to paint a picture of just what it smells like.

Sunny at first, with a touch of cardamom and papyrus.
Cool, next, with a hint of tree moss and vetiver.
And then warm, with cedar, sandalwood and musk.

And just like the windswept willow trees of Alamo Square, the experience wafts in through waves. Light at first, fresh, and then sturdy and strong through it’s finish. Bold, but refined, like the breeze blowing every single leaf.

Now, if we didn’t know better, we just created a poem of sorts. Pulitzer-worthy, even. But, we digress.

As discussed by Laurent Le Guernec, principle to the creation of the fragrance, Virtu represents the man who seeks the ‘finer things in life — who strives for excellence and appreciates when elegance meets luxury and bold excitement.’

So… he’s talking about us, right? Our thoughts exactly.

Day to night, the scent is fresh enough to stand the test of a long day, and strong enough for the impact of a night out. But, if we had a preference, it makes for a perfect afternoon and evening. All the feels of a sunset, light at first, deep into the dimness of twilight.

Think of Virtu as perfect for a date night. Just trust us, we’ve tried it out 😉
