YUMMERTIME EATS: PRECITA PARK CAFE

PRECITA_6When asked to list our hobbies, we have but two priorities: shopping, eating. Eating while shopping? Best. Day. Ever. Consider us the embodiment of the Millennial.

Ew. No. Don’t do that.

We’re just being us. Just the two of us, no one else, where no one else’s opinions matter… except our moms’. We. Like. To. Eat. You can quote us.

And we will not be ashamed of that. IN FACT, we went to the same restaurant two times in a week… We went on Thursday AND on Friday. BOOM. Now that’s what we call, ‘living.’

The restaurant? Precita Park Cafe. So, here goes. We’re endorsing that little cafe as our favorite restaurant this month. Good gourd, what does an endorsement even mean? If you’re reading this, we consider you a friend — hi 🙂 how are you? — and friend’s look out for each other. So… um… YOU SHOULD GO. GO. GO. JUST GO. GOOD. GO, DAMMIT. Oh, shoot, we said dammit.

We’re endorsing that little cafe as our favorite restaurant this month.

Truth is, we can’t shut up about our surprising experience last week at Precita Park Cafe. Literally. We can’t shut up.

“Wanna know what we ate last night?! A deep fried quail stuffed with baked chorizo mac n’ cheese. Heaven. HEAVEN.”

“Wanna know what we just ate?! Fume smoked trout. TROUT. TROUT!!!! UNBELIEVABLE. Who knew we could be so excited about fish.”

Here’s what we suggest you order when you go:
Housemade Burrata
Sausage and Montasio Pizza
McFarland’s Springs Trout
Deep Fried Quail
Dessert. We tried five. We can’t choose.

Obviously that’s a lot of food. So. Um… make room. You’ll be surprised at the little food miracles that are coming out of the kitchen of this little cafe.

How do you even stuff a quail! Yet alone fry it! I was sold at chorizo. Great little find – would it be ridiculous to travel to the west coast just to try this?

NOT ridiculous at all 😛 And trust us, we have NO idea how you’d stuff a quail. We won’t ask questions… haha!

Hot damn! It’s awesome that the PPC is getting some attention. Food is great. Beer is fresh and cold. AND…how many places can you get a real breakfast with perfect coffee, then come back and have a fantastic salad or burger for lunch and then come base even later get some high quality foodie food for dinner. Breakfast, Burgers and Bourgeoisie! (and Beer)
