DESERT DINOSAURS

And… We’re here! Palm Springs for our anniversary! A 4-day adventure in the desert. We guess you could say it’s a welcome reprieve from our fogged out summer in San Francisco 🙂

Every time we visit Palm Springs, we fly into Ontario; definitely less convenient than flying directly into Palm Springs, but we get to visit one of our favorite roadside attractions.

Have you ever seen the Cabazon Dinosaurs in person?

If you haven’t, we definitely recommend checking them out, even just for a few quick minutes. They’re enormous. The gift shop’s located in the belly of the brachiosaurus (how many times have you been inside a dinosaur?) and is filled with every dino-related souvenir you could possibly imagine. We got a snow globe.

Dinos aside, we’ve broken out our summer gear (finally) and are fully planning on spending the next several days in shorts, sandals, and our completely necessary, humungous straw hats. It is the desert after all.
